I just dropped my Amazon Prime subscription. Their Medusa commercial was the last straw. I’m not going to link it here because I don’t want to give it views. The more I saw it the more it sank in that Amazon was making a rape joke. A FUCKING RAPE JOKE. Because he was looking at her, he was asking for it?? Where have we heard THAT line before?? Does it suddenly become funny because the victim is a man??? I love the men in my life. My dad is not “asking for it.” My late uncle and granddads are not “asking for it.” Even the living uncle that annoys the shit out of me is not “asking for it.” Between this and all of Amazon’s woke virtue signaling bullshit, I am fucking DONE.
